The Right Cigare –How to know which it is?

Rating a cigar brand in the best manner:

In order to know the best about a cigar, it is wise to do blind tasting. You need to take a sheet of paper and make the scale for marking and have a few brands which you will taste and mark. You can also have someone on your behalf to do the testing and then give his opinion. You need to make observations as well of whatever coming to your mind. Once you have the cigar tasted, think of its aesthetics- how it tastes and it appears. The idea is that you need to have an initial impression captured. Did you, at heart like the cigar? Or did you find it to be brittle and worn out? As we have said before, you can rate your impression if the cigar on a scale of one to ten. You need to judge properly as if it id an important event. Never feel shy about offering decimal points or withholding them for any minor details.

There are also a few things about the cigares brands which will be important when you will be judging.

The construction of it: Now, as you are about to light the cigar, first roll it between your fingers. Try to feel if there are soft spots and also what can be the weight of it like. How is it- light or dense? Then take in the aroma of the cigar before lighting it. Now, is that pleasant to you? Now after lighting the cigar you need to pay much attention to the first draw. Do you feel the smoke pulling through its own? Or is it that the cigar is burning in an even manner with a very little effort? You can look at the ash and note the texture and color of it. Mark it as messy, solid or flaky. You need to take notes of all these characteristics at the time of lighting and after lighting the cigar. Then rate the impression on the scale as given.

The strength and flavor: When it comes to observing the cigare, one of the easiest observations for any blind taster will to make sure if the cigar is mild or full-bodied. You need to look for all the undertones which may seem harsh, musty, robust, floral, salty or green to you. Then write down about them and decide if the taste was pleasant or not. Now, when the cigar is smoked, notice if the flavor is decreasing or increasing. Or is the cigar going towards more complex ones towards the end or is ending with a bitter feeling. Now, when it comes to wine, the after taste experience tells everything, like the sensation which will remain in your mouth even after each puff. This is an important reflection. The same applies to the bruxelles. Spend some moments in thinking what do you feel about the after taste.

Think of it, if you are eager for taking another puff to get rid of the bad taste or do you want to linger on the taste somehow. You must make notes of the overall aroma of the brand when you will be smoking it. You can also use adjectives like woodsy, grassy, overpowering, floral or unpleasant. Again rate it on a scale of one to ten.
