Drying of cigar: When the process of making cigars is going on, once there is a time when the fillers after they are moistened, are dried and then handled to be dried and that requires about 16% humidity. These can be really stiff. Now, if one has to make the bunch, the binder needs to have moisture so that it can be flexible for wrapping around the cigar and the same goes for the wrapper. One needs the binder to provide with water to the fillers and then bunch can become really soft so that it can be wrapped. The time for pressing surely helps one to have it dried and that does it enough for the purpose of wrapping. Similarly the wrapper which is then moistened goes to transmit water to the cigar’s remaining. Then there is again a period of drying which is important as it helps the moisture content to be exact in the cigar. The quality control time is really long enough and it gives enough time for the cigares to be stored inside humidors.

Pressing of bunch: Now as the bunch is made, it will go through the mold of nearly 20 chambers and once the models are complete it is sent to a press. All these bunches will get dried at the pressing place. This is important before one wraps. Now once 25 minutes are spent under the press the molds are known to become more open and the cigar maker then has the bunches turned 90 degrees so that any prominent line doesn’t take place at the place where the molds will be joined. Then there is the need of another 20 minutes and finally one can say that the bunches are all ready so that they can be wrapped.

The machine for bunching: Now it is a fact that the more the quality, the better has been the use of tools. There are some tools used in the handmade process which helps in producing better quality of any brand of cigare. The construction of cigar has improved, all thanks to the bunching machine. It consists of a frame which is with a belt and also a cylinder which moves and is maintained by a lever. This works in similar manner as a cigarette roller machine which is portable. Now, if you find the belt to be filled up perfectly then the bunch will get rolled in a regular manner which will be in a rotating movement. The fillers are always prevented from getting twisted through this and thus the cigar quality become good as the bunch is made with hand completely.

This is what the people used to do earlier. The Bruxelles came much later and prior to that a brilliant method existed. You will need some tobacco leaves and then use your hands and make one without any accessories or tools. Roll the tobacco simply. But then you also need to light up the cigar as well. Well that shouldn’t be a difficult task of course!
